Tatenda Grace Chikwati is a nanny and house helper with childcare and household management experience. She worked as a nursery school teacher at Tiny Tots Nursery School in Harare, Zimbabwe from January 2023 to December 2023, where she supported administration policies, prepared classroom materials and bulletin board displays, collected data and maintained documentation for each child's program, assisted students with subject matter using lectures, discussions, and role-playing methods, monitored students in the use and care of equipment, used a variety of activities and instructional methods to motivate children, monitored children's interactions and nurtured cooperation and sharing, maintained open communication with parents, and created a safe and nurturing environment while implementing classroom management techniques.
Since January 2024, she has been working as a part-time nanny for a private home in Dubai, caring for a six-month-old and a three-year-old girl. Her duties include changing nappies and helping with potty and toilet training, organizing creative activities and educational games, observing children during studying and extracurricular activities, preparing nutritious meals for the children or family four times per week while ensuring adherence to allergen guidelines, teaching children appropriate social behavior, picking up children from nursery or school bus and helping with extracurricular activities, planning and organizing parties and events, and performing light child-related housekeeping such as cleaning toys, baby laundry, cleaning up after meals, sterilizing bottles, and baby food preparation. She is currently pursuing ongoing studies in Applied Behavioral Analysis and Understanding Child Development and Disabilities.
