Sophia

Sophia Kathure is a Kenyan with over four years of experience as a carer, nanny, and housemaid. From 2021 to 2024, she worked as a nanny and housemaid for a Jordan family in Qatar for three years, where she provided full-time childcare including feeding, bathing, and educational play, managed daily household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing rooms, supported family members with meal preparation and table setting, and monitored and reported children's health, mood, and development to parents regularly. From 2024 to August 2025, she worked as a nanny and housemaid for a British family in Dubai, where she cared for children's daily needs including meals, school preparation, and recreational activities, maintained household cleanliness and organization including laundry and general cleaning, assisted in preparing nutritious meals and managing grocery lists, and ensured a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for the children at all times.

Since September 2025, she has been working as a carer at Australian International School in Al Barsha, where she assists in supervising and supporting children's daily activities ensuring their safety and well-being, provides help with feeding, hygiene, and personal care in a caring and respectful manner, supports teachers in classroom organization, playtime, and educational tasks, and maintains a clean and safe environment following school health and safety standards. She describes herself as compassionate, dedicated, reliable, kind, and able to stay calm in busy situations, especially skilled in supporting children with special needs and other learning needs. She holds a Diploma in Social Work & Community Development, a First Aid Certificate, and Autism Awareness Training CPD. She is currently on a freelance visa in Dubai and speaks English.
