Sandra Nyakato is a Ugandan housemaid currently working in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with domestic experience spanning from her hotel housekeeping background in Uganda to her current household role since 2022. She describes herself as smart, well-groomed, confident, having a professional attitude, possessing a friendly and approachable personality, and being willing to work various shifts while interested in taking on responsibilities and extra tasks. Her professional experience includes two years as a housemaid in Abu Dhabi from 2022 to 2024, two years in housekeeping at Serena Hotel in Kampala, Uganda from 2017 to 2019, and two years as a cleaner at Resort Hotel in Jinja, Uganda. Sandra is fluent in English with basic Arabic skills and holds a Certificate in Cosmetology from Datamine Technical Institute.

Her duties have encompassed vacuuming carpets, floors, and upholstery, cleaning bathrooms and lavatories, changing and machine washing towels and bed sheets, ironing linens, and completing daily and weekly cleaning schedules. She has experience with grocery shopping, checking and restocking supplies like tea, coffee, sugar, and milk, ensuring televisions, radios, lights, and air conditioning equipment are working and clean, using external area machines for scrubbing, buffing, and drying, and monitoring and reporting necessary domestic repairs and replacements while maintaining economical and safe use of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
