Ruchira Samanmalie has been working in childcare and domestic services for over a year, beginning with a one-year babysitting position with a Sri Lankan family caring for a 1.5-year-old child. Her responsibilities included ensuring child safety, preparing healthy and age-appropriate meals, helping with developmental activities, maintaining hygiene routines, and following proper bedtime procedures. She then expanded her experience working simultaneously with two families - an Italian family for three months caring for children aged 6 and 12 years, and a Russian family for seven months caring for children aged 4 and 6 years.

Currently based in Dubai and speaking English and Hindi, Samanmalie manages comprehensive household duties alongside childcare responsibilities for both families. Her work includes preparing daily meals and snacks, cleaning all rooms including bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas, managing laundry and ironing, supervising age-appropriate children's activities, and maintaining household organization.
