Mila has built her domestic work experience across multiple countries, starting as a domestic helper in Singapore from 2010 to 2015, followed by a role as a bayle baker/sales lady in the Philippines from 2019 to 2022, and working as a domestic helper in the UAE from 2022 to 2024 before transitioning to her current position as a nanny in the UAE. Throughout her domestic roles, she has handled comprehensive household management including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors and surfaces, washing windows and walls, polishing woodwork, and maintaining cleanliness in toilets, showers, baths, and bathroom sinks while removing mildew and mold buildup.
Her childcare responsibilities have included supporting children, particularly on playgrounds, alongside maintaining detailed cleaning routines such as wiping down kitchen appliances, equipment, and counters, regularly emptying wastebaskets, disposing of rubbish, and managing laundry tasks including washing, drying, and folding bedding and towels. She describes herself as having communication skills developed through customer service experience, the ability to work in team structures, and being capable of working under minimal supervision. Mila completed Training Newton Training Caregiver in Burjuman, Dubai, and speaks English, Tagalog, and Ilocano, combining her extensive domestic work background with formal caregiver training.
