Mary Wanjagi Kamau has experience working as a nanny and housekeeper in Qatar and Dubai. She worked for seven years as a quality controller at Kenya Wilham Limited and six years as a hygiene supervisor at Kenya Fresh Limited. For one year, she worked as a nanny and housekeeper for a British family in Doha, Qatar. For two years, she worked as a nanny and housekeeper for a Qatari family in Doha, Qatar. For six months, she worked as a nanny and housekeeper for an Egyptian family taking care of twins. Currently, she works as a nanny and housekeeper for an Egyptian family taking care of one baby.

Throughout her nanny positions, she organizes creative activities and educational games such as drawing, crafting, and puppet games, prepares children's meals and feeds them including bottle-feeding for babies, changes diapers and bathes infants, helps older children wash up and take baths, schedules nap times, transports children to and from school and extracurricular activities, takes care of children in case of injury or illness, and performs housekeeping tasks as needed.
