Marion

Musima Marion Bokengwe is a certified nursing assistant and caregiver with combined experience in healthcare and childcare. From May 2022 to May 2023, she worked in elderly care with Cameroon Development Cooperation Healthcare, where she assisted clients with grooming, washing, and maintaining personal hygiene standards, prepared and served healthy meals taking into account special dietary needs, identified suitable activities for patients, performed light housekeeping duties, provided social companionship, ensured clients took prescribed medication on time, assisted with physical therapy exercises, escorted clients to appointments, took vital signs, followed care plans, ran errands, and reported changes in health or behavior. Since 2023, she has been working as a nursing assistant with GSM in Dubai, UAE, helping patients with hygiene including bathroom use, bathing, brushing teeth and dressing, assisting patients with meals by feeding them, and monitoring general health and vital signs.

She has also worked as a part time nanny for a European family of six in the UAE, caring for three boys aged four to 10 years, a baby, and one child with special needs. Her responsibilities included tutoring and cleaning in addition to childcare. She describes herself as well-behaved and capable of helping children through education, helping them socialize, and easing their social anxiety. Musima holds a Diploma in Nursing Assistant from the American Institute of Healthcare and Hospital Management, completed in February 2024, where she received training in hand hygiene, vital signs monitoring, body mechanics, ambulation, transferring and repositioning, bathing and dressing, oral hygiene, catheter and ostomy care, and feeding techniques. She is certified in CPR, First Aid, Basic Life Support, and Elderly Care. She speaks both English and French.
