Lucy Wangari has been working in cleaning and housekeeping roles since 2016. She began her career in Nairobi as a cleaner at Greenspan Mall from March 2016 to November 2016, where she maintained impeccable cleanliness in all areas including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common spaces, performing tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning. She then worked as a house manager at a residential house in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from December 2016 to December 2018, where she handled dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and window cleaning while ensuring all assigned areas were cleaned to the highest standards.
From March 2019 to March 2021, she worked as a house manager at a residential house in Lebanon, maintaining cleanliness standards, reporting maintenance issues, protecting guest property, managing inventory, and adhering to safety and hygiene protocols. She returned to Nairobi to work as a cleaner at Safari Park Hotel from August 2021 to February 2023, making beds, replacing linens and towels, restocking amenities, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, vacuuming and mopping floors, and disposing of trash. Since June 2023, she has been working as a cleaner at San Sauce Hotel in Nairobi, performing dusting, sweeping, and vacuuming duties. Lucy speaks English and has Arabic hearing ability but responds in English. She completed hospitality training at Greenlight Vocational Training in Nairobi from February 2015 to January 2016.
