Jennifer Pelo's childcare career began in Saudi Arabia from June 2010 to July 2012, where she worked as a nanny for quadruplets, providing attentive care that included feeding by preparing meals and snacks while ensuring dietary requirements were met, bathing, dressing, and grooming the children, and organizing playtime and activities to promote learning and development. She monitored and encouraged naps and rest time, attended to the children's emotional and physical needs to ensure they felt safe and happy, and assisted with school pickups, drop-offs, and supporting schoolwork or extracurricular activities. Following this experience, she worked as a nanny for two children in Qatar from June 2013 to July 2015, maintaining the same comprehensive approach to childcare with daily routines, educational activities, and emotional support.
More recently, Jennifer worked as an assistant teacher and bus assistant at the International School of Creative Science in Muweilah, Sharjah, from December 2019 to July 2021 through Ammar Cleaning and Contracting LLC. In her classroom duties, she prepared lessons and cleared classrooms to maintain safe environments, assisted teachers with lesson materials and equipment, recorded student progress, helped pupils stay focused, and supervised group activities, sports events, and school outings while helping manage student behavior and caring for children who were unwell or upset. Her bus duties included assisting with school bus service, managing proper loading and unloading of students, maintaining student discipline, supervising students in transit, communicating with parents about arrival times, and collecting students from classrooms to supervise them to correct buses. She describes herself as highly responsible, reliable, with strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
