Jelveme

I am Jelveme, an education professional currently residing in Dubai, UAE, with a deep commitment to providing individualized support to students. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and numerous certifications, such as a Certificate of Teaching Profession and an LSA Specialist certification. I hold certifications in TESOL and TEFL, and I recently completed a program on Clinical Care for Adult Autism from Harvard University in May 2025. My skills are centered on creating a stimulating learning environment and effectively collaborating on lesson plans, all while maintaining a calm demeanor in the classroom. I have extensive experience as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), working with students from diverse backgrounds and those with special needs, specifically in the SEN/Inclusion Department at Pristine Private School. In this role, I excelled at providing one-on-one academic support, adapting materials, and systematically facilitating a student's independence. From October 2018 to October 2020, I served as a Student Assistant for Special Needs/Shadow Teacher, providing specialized support for students with visual impairments. Furthermore, my work included IEP implementation and diligent data tracking, ensuring accurate progress reports for the SEN team and family. Before my teaching career, I gained valuable experience as a Call Center Agent at OPTUM, where I managed customer resolution and meticulously logged interactions in a CRM system. I am dedicated to using my experience to support student autonomy and foster peace in the learning environment
