My name is Irish Joyce Abais, and I am a dedicated newborn specialist and childcare provider with over 8 years of experience providing high-quality newborn care. I am based in Dubai. I am passionate about creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive.

I have extensive experience in newborn and childcare, having worked from 2017 to May 2025 In this role, I supervised children’s safety, implemented nap schedules, and maintained detailed records of their daily activities. I took pride in preparing nutritious meals, assisting with hygiene, and organizing educational activities that fostered their growth and exploration. My focus on developing routines ensured that the children had a perfect balance of physical activity, rest, and play.

Before my current role, I worked as a nursing aide and caregiver from 2012 to 2017, where I provided compassionate care to an elderly patient with complex medical conditions. This experience honed my skills in patient care, communication, and maintaining a clean and safe environment, all of which translate well to my work with children.

I also served as a medical assistant attendant at the Samaya Eye Center in Abu Dhabi from 2011 to 2012. There, I assisted in medical procedures, managed patient appointments, and maintained a sterile environment, enhancing my organizational and interpersonal skills.

I am certified in CPR and First Aid, ensuring that the safety and well-being of the children in my care are always my top priority. My training includes a Newborn Baby Casting course at Tootsie Toes London (Abu Dhabi branch) in 2017, as well as an Associated Alternative Healthcare Training in Caregiving from Manila in 2006-2007. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Our Lady of Fatima University.

I am passionate about planning age-appropriate activities and fostering positive relationships with both children and their families. With strong attention to detail, I maintain a hygienic environment and provide excellent communication with parents. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate the unique needs of each family, and I am driven by a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children, helping them reach their full potential.
