Hamidah Najjemba has over 6 years of experience in providing care and support to individuals in need. She has worked with both local families in Dubai and at Sir Albert Cook Hospital in Kampala, Uganda, where she honed her skills in patient care, including assisting with daily routines, administering medications, and offering emotional support.
From 2020 to 2024, Hamidah worked as a caregiver for a local family in Dubai, where she assisted the patient with morning routines, meal preparation, and transportation to medical appointments and social activities. She was responsible for managing the patient’s medication and ensuring they maintained a healthy, balanced diet. Her role also extended to performing household chores, such as laundry, grocery shopping, and maintaining a clean environment.
Prior to her work in Dubai, Hamidah served as a caregiver at Sir Albert Cook Hospital in Uganda for 2 years. There, she was responsible for the safety, wellbeing, and development of young children, as well as performing general housekeeping duties. She prepared meals, assisted with after-school activities, and ensured the children were engaged in active, healthy lifestyles. Hamidah’s experience also includes managing laundry tasks, maintaining cleanliness in the household, and accompanying children to parks and social events.
Hamidah holds a Nursing Assistant certificate and a High School Certificate of Education from Uganda. She is fluent in English and is flexible in her working hours, capable of working early mornings, afternoons, and some nights. With her caring nature, strong work ethic, and expertise in caregiving, Hamidah is committed to providing exceptional care to those in need.
