Fortunate

Fortunate began her childcare career in South Africa, working as a nursery assistant teacher at Early Bird Pre School from 2016 to 2020. In this role, she assisted the lead teacher in planning and implementing activities for children, supported their physical, emotional, and cognitive development, and helped with daily routines such as feeding, toileting, and sleep time. She also engaged with children to encourage socialization and communication, maintained classroom organization, and monitored children's behavior while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. In 2021, Fortunate moved to Dubai, UAE, where she has been working as a nanny. She creates a safe and nurturing environment for two children aged five and two years, planning and implementing educational activities including arts, crafts, games, and outdoor play. Her responsibilities include preparing healthy meals and snacks, managing daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and bedtime, and assisting with homework and learning activities. In 2023, she took on newborn care duties, which included bottle feeding, diaper changing, and introducing stimulating activities. She describes herself as trustworthy, adaptable, and passionate about supporting children's growth and well-being, with skills in child development, behavior management, and communication.
