Chathurika

Chathurika Silva has over 16 years of experience in childcare and household support across nurseries and private families. She began her career as a teacher assistant at Willow Children’s Nursery in Dubai from 2009 to 2013, where she supported classroom activities, helped with lesson preparation, and assisted children individually to ensure a positive learning environment. From 2013 to 2016, she worked with a UK family as a caretaker, providing personal care, companionship, and support with daily routines and household tasks. Since 2016, she has been with a Spanish family in Dubai as a nanny, caring for children from newborn through school age. Her responsibilities included planning fun and educational activities, meal preparation, assisting with homework, and maintaining a safe and tidy home. Chathurika is fluent in English, skilled in household organization, meal preparation, and simple first aid. She describes herself as patient, adaptable, and creative in supporting children’s growth and routines. She is open to live-in or live-out roles and is based in Jumeirah, Dubai, with her husband, who holds a valid UAE driving license.
